Thanks to you, one of my posts just went viral—with more than 400,000 views! The post before that reached over 300,000 views, and together, the content has been seen by more than 1.2 million people in the past week.

This happened because of you. You shared, commented, and helped spread the message. You did the work to make sure others saw it—and that truly matters.

We talk a lot about celiac disease because it touches nearly every part of our lives. Yet most people have no idea what it’s really like. They don’t understand what it feels like to face every meal with fear, worrying if the next bite might make us sick. And when we do get sick, there’s rarely a clear answer or much support.

Too often, people think we’re being picky or dramatic. Every person with celiac disease has seen that eye roll when asking about gluten-free meals. Many of us have even heard, “Oh, I just added a little flour—that won’t hurt you, will it?” after the food is already on our plate.

I wrote that viral post as a simple tool—to help families understand what living with celiac disease is really like. I posted it now so that holiday meals could be less stressful and so loved ones might take the time to make safe accommodations for gluten-free eaters.

I’m so glad so many of you found it helpful. I hope you’ll keep sharing it, keep using it, and keep helping others understand what living gluten-free truly means.
