I hinted at doing some new things with my site, here it is….

I’m going to add an option for a subscription. I’ve been thinking about this a lot since the offering came to me and I have thought about what value added services I could provide. If you already like my content, I am hoping this will supplement and enhance the content you are already receiving. The subscription is very inexpensive and I think it will add a lot of value to your celiac journey.

First, I’m going to offer live events weekly. The day of the week and times will rotate to accommodate as many schedules as possible. The topics will vary as well. The first three topics are – Q&A for the newly diagnosed, latest research on testing for celiac diagnosis, and a discussion on the ethics of gluten challenge in celiac disease. Dates and times are already locked in.

Second, there will be a dedicated group for subscribers. It will be designed to ask specific questions and I will answer those questions in a timely manner. I’ll be honest, this add-on service is the one I worry about keeping up the most.

Finally, there will be additional exclusive content posted. It will be posted outside of what I’m posting to the regular page and more food and recipe focused. It will be about recipes I’ve tried and my family has loved. It will be about products I’m obsessed with. It will involve a daily post about what I’m eating – the good, the bad, and the gluten free. It will hopefully round out the content I’m already publishing to help you on your gluten free journey.

This is a big leap of faith for me and a little bit scary. What started as a blog to talk about my clinical trial experience and alleviate my husband from always having to hear about celiac disease into something more robust is exciting. I hope I can live up to the expectations you all have of subscribing to a paid service.

What I’m currently posting will not go away, but the subscription should augment what I’m already doing.
